3rd Annual Chili COOK OFF

Is your family interested in competing in The Nations' 3rd Annual Chili Cook Off?

All entries must be received by August 10, 2017.

What: Westside Meetup 3rd Annual Chili Cook Off

Where: St. Luke's Community House | New York Avenue between 56th & 57th

When: Saturday, August 25 from 11-1pm

 

The Nations families are invited to participate in a chili cook off with the winner decided on by the attendees. The winner of the event will receive $100, the coveted Chili Award, and represent The Nations Neighborhood at the Neighborhood Resource Center's 6th Annual Good Neighbor Day Festival on Saturday, September 29. All remaining proceeds will go to St. Luke’s Community House.

 

Chili Cook Off Participant Information:

  1. Families with chefs of any age are welcome. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian present.

  2. Provide one crockpot of chili for attendees.

  3. Provide any cooking/warming devices, serving utensils + extension cords needed to heat chili*.

  4. Provide any necessary toppings that may be needed for additional flavor.

  5. Pay attention to potential allergens and notify attendees at booth of potential risks.

  6. Provide a ballot box of your choosing/creation + table decorations are encouraged.

  7. Understand that the winner must be available to compete in citywide competition on September 29. In the event that person absolutely cannot attend, the second place winner will compete.

  8. Additional information will be sent once participation entry has been received.

 

*Attendee bowls, spoons, napkins, and bottled water will be provided.
